It was a phrase said frequently by Coach Joe over a 15 year tenure as a Defensive Coordinator and line coach for the Butler Jr. Bulldogs and the BBYC Bulldogs. It is a reminder to work together, to realize a common goal, and to embrace the idea that the team is more important than any one individual.

As one of the few who coached all 4 squads, Coach Joe's commitment was to the children of Butler as he instilled love and understanding of a sport he was passionate about... football. Coach Joe led his team to 5 Super Bowl appearances and 3 Super Bowl Victory, including the 2012 UNDEFEATED A Squad Season. He was the first recipient of the 'Coach of the Year' Award in 2005. Despite his success, he was most proud of the young adults his players became and the lessons learned on the football field that they applied to life off the field.

This is a video tribute produced for "Joe Natale Day" at Historic DeLazier Field in Bloomingdale, N.J. put on by the BBYC Youth Football Organization. Joe Natale was a beloved man on every team he coached and was known for his hugs, which he readily dispensed to all that he came in contact with...every time he came in contact with them :-) He was also known for his love of The Oakland Raiders and proudly wore his colors to many practices, making him stand out as colorful as well as kind. This video is a tribute to a coach who served the kids of his community well throughout the years and in his death we celebrate his spirit. To all who knew him, he was just Joe. This is how he would have liked it.
